How to file a DMCA takedown request?

Modified on Thu, 13 Mar at 8:17 AM

If you find that your copyrighted content has been uploaded to ResinGuild without your permission, you can submit a DMCA takedown request to have it removed. Here’s how the process works:

1. Confirm That Your Work Is Being Used Without Permission

  • Ensure that the content in question is your original creation and that you hold the copyright.

  • Verify that the model is not being used under a valid license or fair use exceptions.

2. Gather Necessary Information

Before submitting your request, prepare the following details:

  • Your full legal name

  • Your contact information (email and/or phone number)

  • A link to the infringing content on ResinGuild

  • A link to your original work or other proof of ownership

  • A statement of good faith asserting that the use is unauthorized

  • A declaration that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

3. Submit Your DMCA Request

Send your takedown request via support ticket through the ResinGuild Help Center.

4. What Happens Next?

  • Our team will review the request within 5-7 business days.

  • If the claim is valid, the infringing content will be removed.

  • The uploader may be notified and given a chance to file a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was a mistake.

5. Filing a Counter-Notification

If your content was removed by mistake, you can file a counter-notification proving that you have the right to use or distribute the model.

ResinGuild takes copyright infringement seriously and is committed to protecting creators' rights while maintaining a fair process for all users.
